Jewelry Restoration

Restore fine jewelry from your vintage, antique, or estate jewelry collection to its original beauty.  Services range from simple sizing and stone tightening to replacing missing gemstones and old-style diamonds on an antique ring.  Or let our professionals assist you with a complete transition into a fabulous new piece.

Custom Jewelry Design

The custom design process is a great way to express yourself. At Luxenberg's, we will personally guide you through the design process, step-by-step, from start to finish. We can begin with your conceptual sketch on a napkin and refine the design to a beautiful fine piece of jewelry that you will cherish.

Ring Sizing

A ring that fits appropriately to the size of your finger should feel a little bit tight.  It should slip easily onto your finger yet slide off a bit harder with a slight brush against your skin. When appropriately resized, the ring will maintain its original round shape (in most instances), with no damage to the stones.

When making a ring smaller, our jeweler will cut out a portion of the ring's band or shank, and the ends rejoined with precious metal solders, such as gold or platinum. After restoring the circular shape and completing the soldering, the ring is cleaned and polished to restore the smooth surface.

If you find you need to enlarge your ring,  our jeweler may stretch it (as long as there are no stones in the setting) or cut and enlarge it with additional pieces of precious metals soldered into the band or shank.

Due to material properties, we cannot resize some ring styles. However, suppose your ring is made of titanium, tungsten, or cobalt and purchased at Luxenberg's. In that case, the ring manufacturer usually allows you to trade the ring in for a different size for a minimal fee.

Jewelry Insurance

We think that you deserve for jewelry insurance to be accessible and affordable. If you have a loss, you deserve fair treatment.

We have found what we believe is the best value offering in the industry marketplace for jewelry insurance, especially for our customers. Unfortunately, we had seen examples when insurance companies did not pay claims fairly. Our first-hand experience with this company reaffirmed our finding.  Please note, we do not sell insurance, nor do we get a commission.  We strongly believe you deserve someone to guide you based upon personal experience. You may choose to deal with the company directly, or we would be happy to help you complete the application process allowing you to walk out of the store with your coverage in place.

Insurance Replacements

Do you need to file a claim for an insured diamond or piece of jewelry? Luxenberg's Jewelers can help you! We work directly with many insurance carriers on your claim to restore, repair, or replace your item, whether it is a single lost stone, broken prong, a single piece, or your entire collection of jewelry. Following all insurance mandates, we act as your advocate to assure your voice is heard, you receive what you are entitled to, and are happy at the end of the process.
